UFO sightings in Liguria: the hypothesis of an alien base in Savona is strengthened

  • Recently, numerous citizens of Savona and Loano have reported sighting spherical and luminous objects in the sky
  • The Italian Alien Research Association examined the videos
  • Experts have concluded that the immortalized spheres cannot be traced back to planes, drones and natural phenomena
  • Liguria has often been the scene of alleged extraterrestrial sightings
  • There are those who suspect the existence of an alien base in Savona

There are numerous reports from the citizens of Savona and Loano regarding some spherical and luminous objects spotted in the sky, both during the day and at night. The videos were viewed by ufologist Angelo Maggioni, founder of Aria (Italian Alien Research Association). The expert described the presence of gray metallic spheres that “they appear to absorb sunlight, surrounded by luminous energy that masks their precise shape. Such objects appear to move silently, suggesting possible magnetic propulsion“. Maggioni then clarified that “the nature of this propulsion and its relationship to the observed phenomena remain a mystery“.

According to the association, in fact, “conventional explanations such as planes, drones or natural phenomena” would not be convincing: the origin of these objects would be of clear extraterrestrial origin. Moreover, Liguria is no stranger to alleged extraterrestrial visits. Savona, in particular, had already been defined by Maggioni “a particularly active city” in 2018, prompting ufologists to question the hypothetical presence of an alien base near the city.

The Earth as a ‘magnetic stopover’ for interplanetary travel

Regarding the video reports received during the latest sightings, the founder of Aria hypothesized that the metallic spheres of alien origin “they need static energy for their functioning”. According to the ufologist, “It is possible that this energy could be obtained through the ionization of the surrounding atmosphere, thus providing a sort of “bubble” of atmospheric vacuum that allows the movement of objects.

I hypothesize that such objects may use planetary magnetic currents for propulsion, making Earth a potential ‘magnetic port’ for interplanetary travel. This theory opens the door to a deeper understanding of why these objects visit our planet“.

Maggioni then concluded his statement by specifying that “the association’s interest is not only in unraveling the mystery of unidentified flying objects, but also in understanding their intentions and method of travel. This approach could provide not only a better understanding of the observed phenomena, but also a broader view of our place in the universe“.
