I have had the pleasure of visiting Asiago in the past and now I can’t wait to be part of the community. I believe in the vision and timing with which Renato Tessari and the company want to develop the Asiago project. I will be fortunate enough to be the coach during the process of achieving these goals. I am excited to form a new team with winning expectations, I want to immerse myself in the community and work with a culture worthy of this championship in mind.

The Sports Director Renato Tessari comments on the choice of the new coach:

The choice was mainly based on his experience in the NCAA, where the organization is very similar to our reality. He is enthusiastic about having an experience in Europe and coming to Asiago. It was a deliberate choice right from the start, because he fits our mentality perfectly. We have had many conversations and I think that with him we will be able to make a leap in organizational quality, both in general terms and in terms of organization on the pitch: we will have more alternatives and game plans. He has great knowledge about everything related to hockey development, and this is very important for us and our club. I also think that he can be a valid person both inside the locker room and on the ice, and outside the stadium and in the community.”
