A girl of around 20 years old from Sezze (Latina) underwent surgery at the Santa Maria Goretti hospital in Latina after being hit by a gunshot which, according to an initial reconstruction, was not aimed at her.

The episode occurred around one in the Ferro di Cavallo area, in the Pontine municipality, where a fight broke out: at the end, near a bar in the nearby area, one of the involved people allegedly pulled out a firearm and a shot was fired, probably as an act of retaliation against the boy with whom he had argued shortly before, instead hitting the girl sitting at a table nearby, between the foot and the ankle. The young woman, who was sitting at the table with some friends, is out of danger after undergoing surgery to remove the bullet. You will have it for 30 days.

According to what has been reconstructed so far, two groups of foreigners, around 10 people in total, all of Romanian or Albanian nationality between 20 and 40 years old, would have come to blows for trivial reasons, in the throes of alcohol, sparking the brawl.

After the episode there was a general stampede and the carabinieri of the local station, alerted by those present and who intervened together with those of the Radiomobile Unit of the Latina Company, acquired the images of the bar’s video surveillance cameras to reconstruct what happened and trace the identity of the man who shot.
