It was an evening of defeat and bitterness for Fermana and its fans. Pescara beat Fermana with a score of 3-0 which condemned the Canaries to direct relegation to Serie D due to the 8 point gap rule. A victory was needed to hope for the play-out miracle, as well as favorable results from other fields, but this evening Fermana found a high-level opponent who won with merit. In the first half Merola and Franchini put the game on ice for Pescara. In the second half Milani took care of making the guests’ victory more rounded, but three minutes from the end a nice goal from Giandonato from the edge of the area made the score less bitter. Fermana fought until the last day, they gave everything that he had, but the 8-point gap rule decided his fate. Defeat is painful, but the light of hope never goes out. Everyone’s hope is that Fermana will be able to get back up, stronger and more determined than ever, ready to take back what got out of hand tonight.

4-Milani makes a hat-trick for Pescara, Merola’s cross for Milani who stops the ball all alone and has no difficulty beating Borghetto
11-It’s raining in the wet for Fermana, Carosso sent off for a foul on the last man against Merola
