PESARO A 600 thousand euro investment for the spring asphalting plan. This includes streets with high traffic flow, roundabouts and sidewalks, from the center to the outskirts. Yet streets in neighborhoods that have been waiting for too long are left out of the interventions. This was reported by the residents and neighborhood councils of Pantano, Villa Fastiggi up to Soria. The president of the Soria-Baia Flaminia district makes himself heard together with the councilors of Pantano and Villa Fastiggi.
Forecasts
There are about ten interventions which the Road and Maintenance service has deemed most urgent: among these, as is evident when driving along them, the main road at Santa Maria delle Fabbrecce and the Conad hypermarket roundabout have such deteriorated asphalts that the cars jolt. Cracks and fissures are numerous on the main road between Santa Maria and via Milano. The priorities will therefore go to the sections of Adriatica, the entire via Milano starting from the roundabout, via Gagarin, sections of Strada Montefeltro, in particular from the second roundabout towards Iper and Vitrifrigo Arena, and also the route of Viale della Liberazione towards the train station, via Giolitti, via Fontesecco exiting Villa Fastiggi and Villa Ceccolini and the San Lorenzino roundabout exiting Case Bruciate.
However, the pavements to be fixed include those of via Milazzo, via Fratelli Bandiera in Pantano, viale della Vittoria in the seaside area, via Bonini in the Santa Veneranda district and the panoramic Ardizio. The restoration of Viale della Vittoria is among the most awaited, especially by hoteliers, where from the traffic lights and towards Fano, the state of the pavements is more disastrous than ever with depressions and asphalt damaged by roots.
The excluded
Marcello Valdinoci, district councilor in Pantano, is not satisfied with the asphalting plan: «We have made requests to the Maintenance service for via Martini, via Nitti, Largo Baccelli, via Salandra and via Lanza, which moreover is a side street of via Giolitti which falls within the slowly, not to mention Via Mancini which has been in a sorry state for some time like some sections of Via Rossi. And yet we don’t understand why they are forgotten.” Luca Pandolfi, neighborhood councilor in Villa Fastiggi, adds to the matter: «Some streets that have been reported for deterioration for months are also excluded from this round of asphalting. The access road to the industrial area and the main routes such as via Brigata Gap and via Brigata Garibaldi, towards the industrial warehouses, in addition to the stretch that intersects with the T41 headquarters, where not only is there no deteriorated asphalt , but there are also no horizontal signs despite it being a very dangerous intersection, especially for the transit of heavy vehicles.
The dangers
And again via Achilli, poorly asphalted even though it leads to the middle school. In fact, there is no surface and since it is a narrow street, the buses tend to keep right in the center of the road, creating ruts, which become puddles of up to 10-15 centimeters each time it rains. Last but not least Stefano Poderi, president of the Baia-Soria district: «There are via Lungofoglia delle Nazioni and via Caboto with seriously compromised sections. And again via Agostini and a stretch of via Gattoni for which we will have to wait for the completion of the works on the media Alighieri, via della Pozzetta as well as a private stretch that the Municipality could take back in via Spoleto. The sections of the sidewalks in the final part of the avenue on the port side, between Viale Trento and the main road, also remain outside.”
