Alessandro Antonello, CEO of Inter, spoke to the microphones of Inter TV on the sidelines of the Nerazzurri’s Scudetto celebration in Piazza Duomo in Milan: “It’s a special emotion, the heat was already high but seeing what happened from two in the afternoon to now is a unique thing that repays the years of hard work of all the corporate members, even those who work off the pitch. This is a unique thing that will remain in the memory for many years. I take this opportunity to remember the over 220 people who work for Inter. Tonight is the right time to thank everyone. This is the right evening to rejoice for them too, to whom our thanks go.”
Everyone worked in synergy to do the good of society, the public’s response is the best.
“Absolutely yes, this celebration is an incredible thing. I say that the strength of this club is that it has had clear objectives within the various components, with the sole objective of bringing the kids to sporting success which has also contributed to corporate area. There is great harmony and determination in obtaining the result.”
Is there a match in your opinion where Inter won the Scudetto?
“The last derby, because we achieved a triple sporting success in a single match. This is the moment that I will carry forever, as I think it has remained in the hearts of many Inter fans.”
In your nine years at Inter many satisfactions have come, what is the club’s secret? And how would you describe it in one word?
“Inter is family, results are achieved with great determination and the desire to work together for a common goal. I remember what Inter was 8-9 years ago and what it was now, it’s a path that we have built over time strengthening the foundations and adding brick after brick to achieve these results. The turning point was the qualification for the Champions League with Luciano Spalletti in Rome on the last day, from there in my opinion the new cycle of the new Inter started where we were able to invest. and return to European competitions, until we can celebrate the second star.”
