live on the Facebook page of La Gazzetta di Lucca

Now even dogs know it. And the pigs of course. That if imbeciles flew the sky would be full of birds. Instead, not having wings, they don’t even limit themselves to walking, much less running, but they open their mouths and give them breath. Producing sounds bordering on incomprehensibility and useless and harmful provocation. What is happening to Roberto Vannacci these days is a disgrace as well as being the product of a collective and distorting ignorance that distorts everything in the name of a false do-goodism and political exploitation that are simply ridiculous, not to say, let’s say, disgusting. The interview in the newspaper The print has once again demonstrated that beyond the text, a title is enough to unleash the insane population of which this political class has always been, regardless of any color of affiliation, a classic example.

Roberto Vannacci will be in Lucca tomorrow, at 6pm, at the Casa del Boia – live on the Facebook page of the Gazzetta di Lucca starting from 6pm – made available once again by my friend Tony Lazzaroni, to present his second book, Courage wins published by Piemme and, like the previous one, a sales success. And we will be the ones to interview him again, after a brief introduction by Massimiliano Simoni who is also the promoter of Artitaly and among the leaders of the pro-Vannacci committee. And exactly like in September 2023, tomorrow too we will be in the middle of the storm explaining to the stupid people who continue to think, say and write that the eye of the storm is the ugliest point which, on the contrary, is the calmest point. And Roberto Vannacci, at that point, fits perfectly, he is a raider, someone who wallows in danger, who in moments of tension and stress is there like a fish in water, someone who does not challenge fear, but he knows it and tries to face it with courage and, above all, dignity.

Some might wonder why the Journal of Lucca and the Gazzette in general have taken, if I can say so, to heart the figure of this general who, first and alone, had the determination and the attributes to write what the majority of Italians, the good ones, understand , he has been claiming for some time, doing so, moreover, not in retirement, but still in service. Well, the reason is simple: we have been with Roberto Vannacci since the first moment in which we read the first written page of his World in Reverse, a world that we neither like nor have ever liked and which we have always defined, if not the opposite, certainly in reverse.

We met and got to know Roberto Vannacci, we read his first book and, just to be clear, also the second and if before we were enthusiastic, now we are even more so because we are convinced that we didn’t make a wrong choice and be careful, it’s easy now to make the claque, but a year ago, as soon as the book came out, no one dared to invite the general and, in particular, to organize presentations. We did it first in Marina di Pietrasanta and we are proud of it. Since then it has been a succession of convinced adhesions and senseless and logical attacks on this man who in other countries envies us while in our country he is tarnished every day and the next too.

It’s true, he agreed to run in Matteo Salvini’s League and we would have preferred him not to take to the track, but having done so, we are still here, with him, because you don’t abandon a friend, but, above all, you don’t abandon him when you we are strongly certain of his reasons and we share, to a large extent, his beliefs. Because it is good to underline that Vannacci does not have opinions, but convictions and there is a big difference.

They asked him what he thought of Mussolini. The usual question that the Left considers a certificate of democracy depending on the answer. He responded by saying what everyone should know: a statesman. Why?, sorry, what was that? He certainly led Italy to destruction, he married Hitler and contributed robustly to the passing of the racial laws in Italy in 1938. He had faults, delusions of grandeur, he ruined the country he loved so much, he sent people to die on the fronts of half of Europe and Africa hundreds of thousands of young soldiers. For this reason alone he should be criticized and considered less than zero, but there is no doubt that he was a statesman. And, please, also an excellent journalist. Then they turned it upside down together with Claretta Petacci who had nothing to do with it, a shameful page like many others on both sides, but when popular anger explodes, the dictator always ends up killed. One way or another. And one certainly cannot cry for his passing as many still do when going on a pilgrimage to Predappio, even if it were Lourdes.

Having made this further premise, there will be 180 seats at the Casa del Boia and this thanks to the work of Tony Lazzaroni who has also organized a dinner at the end of the presentation at a cost of 30 euros and whoever wants to stay and demonstrate solidarity and closeness this raiding general will be welcome.

Every time he makes a statement they massacre him, if he doesn’t say it they force him to say it, resulting in criticism and mockery. Poor idiots. The more they target it, the more they bring it out. All free advertising. He told the truth about disabled people without offending them, on the contrary, those who attend schools are well aware of the difficulties that exist in guaranteeing the best learning for both those who have difficulties and those who do not. What did he say wrong? Is it possible that in a world where we all necessarily have to be the same, every time someone says that we are not equal by simple evidence they should be hanged from the highest flagpole?

Even the CEI, the Italian episcopal conference, intervened to condemn Vannacci’s words. Precisely them, the bishops, who, according to our modest but robust opinion, would have the right to open the oven under their noses only after having explained to this population of Boeotians who still take them into consideration what happened to Emanuela Orlandi 40 years after his death. The Church is shameless when it comes to hiding the truth. For almost half a century she has hidden it on a poor little girl swallowed up by the ravenous figures who have always hosted Oltretevere and she also claims to screw those who, instead, have dignity and seriousness to spare. But let the bishops keep quiet, it’s better.

Roberto Vannacci is (not) a single man in command. Partly because he hasn’t reached command yet – to have Vannacci in place of this republic of invertebrates – even if, as far as we’re concerned, maybe he would get there soon. And a little because he alone is not. There are many who support it and believe in it, in particular those who have discovered that they are not alone in considering this world upside down or, on the contrary, a world in which they do not want to live or force their children to do so. And they are also within the government parties, such as Fratelli d’Italia first and foremost, but also in the League and Forza Italia.

We welcome Roberto Vannacci with sympathy and complicity even if, as always, the parties give us jaundice with the usual side effects, from nausea to vomiting depending on the case. In Lucca, a city of tolerance, intelligence, wit, selfishness and, why not?, hypocrisy, there is a need for people who break the mould, who make people known as the silent majority which, even if silent, is still the majority, he’s sick of having to shoulder the sometimes foolish and illogical requests of any minority that wakes up one morning with something new in mind.

At the Casa del Boia we will be there for the second time and the May 6 at the Hotel Esplanade we will also dub a Viareggio starting at 6pm.
