Serie A: draw in Napoli-Roma, three points for Atalanta against Empoli
Atalanta, after having gained access to the Italian Cup Final this week, returned to the pitch in Serie A within friendly walls. Against Empoli, the Nerazzurri took the three points by winning 2-0. The two goals were decisive, one in each half, by Pasalic, on a penalty, and Lookman.

After just five minutes, however, the hosts found the equalizer through Olivera and, in the 84th minute, took the lead with the penalty converted by Osimhen. However, in the 88th minute, Roma scored the final 2-2 with Abraham’s header.
Serie A, the updated standings
Roma, with the point won at Napoli, rises to 59 points, remaining in fifth place. Atalanta, on the other hand, with the success over Empoli, moves to 57 points, sixth at -2 behind the Giallorossi team, but with one less match played. Lazio now, in seventh place, is still -2 behind Gasperini’s team (with one game more), but -4 behind fifth-placed Roma. Napoli, on the other hand, with today’s draw, rises to 50 points, in eighth place, five points behind Tudor’s Biancocelesti. Finally, Empoli remains on 31 points together with Frosinone and Hellas Verona, +2 on Udinese who are third from last in the standings.
