Valter Pusceddu he wins the second heat and then takes home the Grand Prix of the final with a horse that is proving interesting and is right twice, heat and final of Miscel Putzu who also makes two good races.
The first heat sees the victory of Giosuè Carboni ahead of Giuseppe Zedde who then lets Antonio Mula ride in the final, while Carboni gives way in the final to Giuseppe Piccinnu who runs with his horse, see the tables, as you will read there have been several changes due to absences of jockeys and horses. In the final of the Mula Grand Prix it seemed that with that horse he couldn’t do more than that despite riding well, there’s little to say about Giuseppe Piccinnu, he’s a jockey, he had little to do with those in front.
David Busatti did well in commanding the Mossa, we will see him again in Legnano commanding it for the Provaccia, Memorial Favari.
The next appointment in Legnano will be the Memorial and the Palio, then we will go and discuss things as soon as everything is definitively settled.
Let’s take a look race by race and comment.
The first
Alessio Bincoletto really wins a good race riding well, this boy also seems to be doing well and the horse was no exception!. Behind him was Federico Arri but he had little to do with the winner who was practically always in control except for the last meters of the race.
Giuseppe Zedde starts in the lead from Palio and closes but two of the inside while he was closing them widened him by tripping him behind and thus Bicoletto takes the lead and there was no more history. All four near the second curve, the one at the entrance to the track, Carlo Sanna’s horse goes straight without any consequences for anyone despite Brigante’s inevitable fall, the dark fences are beautiful in the decor of the track but in those points the horses don’t see them and don’t fence them, the same thing that happened to Fabbri in Bomarzo.
The second
A good hard-fought race even if the winner Silvano Mulas who started in the lead never had any problems, Salvatore Nieddu started well but slowed down noticeably towards the end.
Carolo Sanna and Giuseppe Zedde started late and made a good comeback fighting each other and then finishing second with Sanna and third with Zedde.The third
Federico Fabbri wins it by riding really well, starting in the lead and defending himself first from Salvatore Nieddu’s attacks and in the last from the beautiful comeback of Giuseppe Zedde who comes second, Nicolò Farnetani takes a couple of squeezes at the horse then reacts to him and you can see it galloping towards the end and getting closer to the leaders he also made a positive change, and is riding well, it should be remembered that Nicolò started racing “late”.
However, congratulations to the Captains’ College and its precious men who made the race possible by fixing the track and all the organizational work behind it.
The fourth
Giuseppe Zedde wins after a burning start in the lead and then controls the race even if the horse has a couple of uncertainties, Giosuè Carboni is furious after the horse slightly shies away from him when the canape is lowered and makes him lose ground, once he starts At the first corner he slips past Alessio Bincoletto and Silvano Mulas, taking second. He tries to catch Gingillo but can’t do it, but the horse seems interesting anyway. Bincoletto gets the horse fixed and then takes him forward well and at the end he gallops and arrives. Mulas has a horse to fix and after one ride he just tries to fix it.
