Agreement between the Province of Cuneo and the Savona authority

A strategic alliance is born between Savona-Cuneo. Last week a summit took place between the President of the Province of Savona Pierangelo Olivieri and that of the Province of Cuneo Luca Robaldo which marked the start of a shared strategy in various areas common to both territories, starting from the inclusion of a Ligurian representation in the control room against the livestock emergency. Various and numerous shared themes will favor a desired acceleration of some crucial interventions for the economy of the two areas: from infrastructure to tourism, from the emergency linked to swine fever to the wind farm of Monte Cerchio, on the hills of Val Bormida.

One of the first operational resolutions concerns the emergency linked to the spread of the epidemic which affects wild boars and risks transmitting to pig farms between Piedmont and Liguria. The Province of Savona – where the phenomenon is limited, there are seven municipalities subjected to restrictions – will in fact become part of the control room established by the province of Cuneo which has proven to be an effective tool to combat the emergency.
