L’AQUILA – “From what is imprinted in my memory and from what I learned from the company offices, the scrolling of scholarships by the month of April had never happened in the history of Abruzzo: we are very satisfied with this excellent result which represents good news for our young people”: like this Antonio Pensaacting president of the Company for the right to university studies (Adsu) of L’Aquila, regarding the measure on the coverage of scholarships resulting from an agreement with the European Commission.
Pensa announces that the ADSU offices have worked hard despite the long weekend at the end of April to achieve the objective.
“I express full satisfaction with the progression of the scholarship rankings thanks to the agreement with the European Commission which authorized the use of ESF Plus resources amounting to 7.3 million euros – explains engineer Pensa again -. It was the tangible result of the joint work of the new regional councilor for Research and University, Roberto Santangeloand the president of the regional council, Marcus Marsilio. The entire Board of Directors would like to thank the great work of the regional offices and the political action implemented by the reconfirmed center-right regional governance, capable of intercepting the important resource deployed by the central government with strategic sense and vision of an increasingly competitive Region”.
“We are convinced that this change of pace by the regional body, especially in the province of L’Aquila, will bring the educational offer and even more so the right to study to higher levels, making our region even more attractive as a result of the greater attention towards students – continues Pensa -. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I send special thanks to councilor Santangelo who, already in the first days of his new mandate, was able to resolve an important problem relating to the right to education”.
Pensa also extends thoughts of thanks to the regional offices “in the persons of Doctors Durante, La Barba and Di Meo, who have been working on this strategy for some time and who, as soon as they received the news, immediately activated the process for the scrolling of the scholarships studio” and to “the entire administrative apparatus of the ADSU of L’Aquila, led by the director, Michele Surianiwho in mockery of the holiday break withdrew their holidays in order to complete the flow of scholarships by the month of April”.
