The work, authored by Colonel of the Guardia di Finanza Gerardo Severino, will be presented on May 9th in the council chamber of the municipality as part of the cultural event ‘Literary meetings’
Fiumicino (Rm) – As part of celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the foundation of the Financial Police will be presented to Fiumicino the book that remembers the gThese are heroic from thechosen chosen Antonio Zara, Gold Medal for Military Valour, ‘Dying at twenty’ written by Colonel on leave Gerardo Severino.
The presentation event will take place on May 9th at 11am in the council chamber of the Municipality of Fiumicino and will be moderated by the journalist Emma Evangelista.
“The day is dedicated to the victims of terrorism and is therefore a symbolic moment to remember and honor the memory of the one who foiled a vile act and who remains an everlasting memory of the homeland” declared the mayor.
They will participate in the event on Mayor Mario Baccini, the president of the municipal council, Roberto Severinithe Councilor for Culture, Federica Poggio the Provincial Commander of the Guardia Di Finanza of Rome the Brigadier General Gavino Putzusignatory of the book’s preface together with the colonel Fabrizio MusciCommander of the Guardia di Finanza Group at Fiumicino Airport.
They will speak on brother of the decorated Gold medal for Military Valor, Angelo Zara and the interregional Commander of Central Italy of the Guardia Di Finanza, General Ignazio Gibilaro.
