Demonstrators protesting against the G7 Climate Summit in Venaria Reale set a bonfire with photos of the leaders present at the event, along with the American flag. The photos of Giorgia Meloni are in focus, as well as that of British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and US President Joe Biden. The procession arrived in Piazza Vittorio after blocking the Turin ring road for several minutes, suddenly diverting the route. “Those who block our future will find hundreds of blocks like this of people not willing to let their heads decide” is the slogan repeated over the megaphone, while the police take the procession back along the agreed route. The incursion onto the ring road, although brief, was enough to create long queues, with several motorists returning from the April 25th bridge.
