The last 90′ on Sunday at Varesina for Piacenza, it remains to be seen whether they will be one of joy (the promotion can still come) or one of regret (many missed opportunities). The red and whites in the last match of the regular season at Garilli beat Real Calepina (3-0), but on the other side Caldiero does much the same: first they go ahead twice, Ciserano equalizes and does it again, but in the 95th minute Caldiero (ten men) achieves the 3-2 while maintaining a narrow but precious one point lead in the standings. Garilli’s gut is sad, the public – who watched their phones throughout the second half – doesn’t believe it: in the 94th minute Piacenza was first again, in the 95th minute no longer. Final time of the championship on Sunday in Venegono Superiore, against Varesina. The ranking says Caldiero 74 and Piacenza 73, the Venetians will go to the home of an already safe Villa Valle and Piacenza in the den of a Varesina fighting for the playoffs.

Rossini loses and recovers pieces in the 24 hours before the match: Tourè isn’t there (muscle problems) but Corradi returns at the last minute to start from the 1st minute, Recino hasn’t definitively recovered from the flu and therefore Marquez is in front with D’ Augustine. On the other side, Real Calepina still needs points to secure themselves from the playout race.
We start at a slow pace, Piacenza tries twice with Marquez who first passes for Ndoye (high) and then for Corradi: great shot just wide. In the 9th minute the red and whites pass: Kernezo’s cross kisses the far post where Ndoye bends Pisoni’s hands on the fly, 1-0 with Garilli’s ears and eyes inevitably moving to the live streaming of Caldiero-Ciserano. In the 25th minute we see Real Calepina with a restart that leads to Quarena’s diagonal shot: Moro blocks with confidence. Bachini passes to Marquez who is knocked down in the area, D’Ago collects but shoots out. We travel like this until the break, Piace doesn’t raise the pace and is there waiting for the right opportunity to double the lead which never arrives. In the 45th minute we go to the changing rooms with Caldiero-Ciserano on the other side more than 10 minutes late due to a bad injury to the visiting goalkeeper. Caldiero closes with two woodblocks, but Ciserano plays.
The problem, however, is the drop in tension of the red and whites who after the advantage almost turned off the engine, we start again with a 10′ delay to respect the contemporaneity. We start again and Caldiero’s immediate goal freezes Garilli. In the 50th minute Tosini shoots incredibly high from close range, Piacenza’s morale has dropped and it shows on the pitch. The radio from Caldiero again: Ciserano draw and the venue with ten men, the Garilli stadium explodes. Piacenza, however, failed to find the safety goal, always leaving the door open to the resourcefulness of Real Calepina and in the meantime Caldiero regained the lead and then returned to a draw again. The stadium now only looks there with cell phones. It explodes again on 2-0 from Bassanini (assisted by Zini) which freezes the game (then Recino with a penalty makes it 3-0) but the psychodrama takes place in the 95th minute, with Caldiero who incredibly finds the 3-2 and maintains the small point of advantage.
