Parma – Lecco 4-0
Head-to-tail without history at the Tardini, where league leaders Parma overwhelms Lecco 4-0, mathematically relegated to Serie C, and takes an important step towards promotion to Serie A. Great protagonist Adrian Bernabé, author of a brace already in the first half ‘now: the Spanish midfielder breaks the deadlock in the 16th minute with an assist from Bonny and scores the hat trick by collecting Hernani’s invitation from the flank. In the middle, Mihaila doubles the lead and attacks the short rebound from the guest’s defense and fires a right-foot shot past Melgrati. The latter did well in the second half, with the result already largely sealed, to deny the joy of the goal to Estevez and Partipilo, in two circumstances, just like his colleague Chichizola who saved the unbeaten record which reached 411′ against Novakovich and Sersanti. Then in the final Camara drops the poker on Sohm’s verticalization.
Ternana – Ascoli 0-1
Ascoli defeats Liberati 1-0 and is back in the running for salvation. Ternana, after three consecutive useful results, loses and returns to the play-out zone. At the start, Breda relies on the experience of Donisi, a great former player of the day. Carrera, while Mantovani and Di Tacchio were given the rossoverdi by Ascoli. The first half was much better than the second with a couple of chances each. Ternana’s clearest shot was the post hit by two steps from Casasola. For Ascoli, Rodriguez’s conclusion on the subsequent counterattack was saved by Vitali. In the 45th minute the winning goal for the Marche team. Bellusci kicks, Botteghin puts his mind to it and gives Ascoli the victory.
Modena – Sudtirol 1-0
Ninety-two days later Modena regains victory and secures salvation, catching Sudtirol in the standings. The great former Bisoli (for four months in Alto Adige at the beginning of the year) is celebrating as he wins his first success on the new bench after a boring match. At the start Gagno says no to Casiraghi, then in injury time no one manages to impact Battistella’s inviting cross and a yawning first half ends. In the 22nd minute the match broke the deadlock with the former Zaro who headed Battistella’s corner and surprised the red and white defence. The visitors’ reaction was nil and only a late melee with Rauti being blocked gave Braglia shivers.
Brescia – Spezia 0-0
The match between Brescia and Spezia ends in a draw. Equal in everything: one time each dominated, one crossbar each and few emotions. Bisoli’s gesture was emotional when Paghera entered the field, struck during the week by a terrible loss: the loss of his dear mother. The captain took off his armband and gave it to his teammate’s arm amidst applause from the audience. Bisoli himself, in the 40th minute of the second half, hits a sensational header from a corner. And in the last minute, an incredible missed goal from Kouda who hit the crossbar from two steps away. It’s 0-0.
Sampdoria – Como 1-1
Como’s march towards Serie A continues, winning a precious point at Ferraris with Sampdoria. It ends 1-1, but for the Blucerchiati it is a draw that could complicate the play-off race. In the first half the guests did better with Stankovic having to work overtime in the 5th minute on Cutrone and then in the 14th minute with Gabrielloni’s long-range shot. Then Pirlo’s team takes measures after the guests’ sprint start and becomes dangerous in the 43rd minute with Ghilardi’s jab which enhances Semper’s reflexes. In the second half in the 20th minute Samp took the lead with Borini’s shot from the edge of the box following an assist from Esposito but Como believed in it and equalized after Verdi’s solo shot into the center of the Ligurian area. First Nsame is blocked by a Doria defender, but then Cutrone repeats the shot at the bottom for the final 1-1.
Cittadella – Feralpisalò 1-1
Third draw in a row for Cittadella against a FeralpiSalò who are still hoping for salvation which remains complicated and uphill. It was the guests who threatened at the start of the match, while the Granata struggled to create opportunities. In the 21st minute, however, Carissoni found the right opportunity by resolving a melee by sending a left-footed shot into the net.
Timid reaction in the second half from the Brescians who got themselves an opportunity with Compagnon, Kastrati coming out well. Then a fiery finish with a save by Kastrati on La Mantia’s header, but the Garda team’s equalizer still came in full injury time following a personal action by Pietrelli who jumped two opponents and put it in. It’s 1-1.
Cosenza – Bari 4-1
Three very important points for Cosenza, who fields 11 out of 11 Italian players, in the direct clash with Bari. With another four goals after those against Reggiana. But how much suffering. After a free kick barely blocked by Pissardo, Cosenza took the lead in the 5th minute with a textbook Calo’-D’Orazio-Mazzocchi action. Bari tries to react but in the 17th minute Cosenza doubles the lead with the usual Tutino (16. center) after an exchange with Marras. Immediately afterwards, with a photocopy action, Tutino comes close to scoring a hat trick. At this point the Calabrians disappear from the scene. And Bari comes close to scoring with Kallon, Sibilli (post) and Pucino, while Camporese comes close to an own goal. In the 44th minute a flash from Nasti reopens the match. At the start of shooting the script does not change. The second pole arrives from Bari with Nasti, then again Benali and Sibilli scare Micai. But in the 35th minute Calò’s surgical free-kick and Forte’s goal from just before the pitch came to close the score, giving half safety to Cosenza and getting Bari into trouble, who closed with ten men for a straight red card to Bellomo. It ends 4-1.
Palermo – Reggiana 1-2
Reggiana overcomes Palermo in a comeback and wins three golden points in the key to safety after three consecutive defeats. First knockout, however, for Mignani, who had achieved three draws since his arrival on the Rosanero bench in place of Corini. Brunori deceived the rosanero in the first half, but Reggiana, who had played better even before conceding a goal, equalized the score with Portanova and then turned the situation around with Rozzio, winning with full merit. In the 35th minute Palermo took the lead: Lucioni’s pass to Brunori who blocked it, went over the goalkeeper and scored into an empty net; the goal was initially disallowed for offside, stifling Barbera’s scream, but VAR corrected the decision. The second half begins and Pigliacelli saves Palermo twice in a couple of minutes, first on Portanova and then on Rozzio. In the 7th minute the equalizer was achieved with a great goal from Portanova who put the ball under the crossbar with his right foot from a free kick. In the 22nd minute the Emilian comeback is complete: cross from the right and the ball arrives from the opposite side to Rozzio who scores under the intersection with a right-footed shot.
