Tomorrow the highly anticipated guest Sigfrido Ranucci will come to Palazzo M in Latina, the face that has been entering Italian homes for years with the Rai 3 broadcast, Report, a bastion of investigative journalism. The appointment is at 6.30 pm and he will present his latest book “La Selection”, published by Bompiani. The meeting will be moderated by journalist Antonio Bertizzolo.

On Monday with Lievito we return to the Corso cinema, at 9.00 pm, for the screening of the documentary “Tutto tutto cherà” and, following, the meeting with the director Renato Chiocca and the protagonist Massimiliano Porcelli. The doc, produced by Utopia 2000, was born from the Girasoli Tour, a bicycle trip to 13 regions to tell the story of Third Sector Italy, an invisible but precious territory. In the summer of 2021 Dennis is a boy residing in a foster home who, after being promoted at school in the year of the pandemic, is invited by his educator Massimiliano to join the Girasoli Tour, a journey into the hidden Italy of the economy social.
«A new look at Italy, this is what we sought with this 3500 kilometer road trip to discover a new point of view on the economy of our country – explains Chiocca, author of the documentary and artistic director of Lievito – Behind each of the realities visited there are stories, practices and experiences that we tried to live by listening and immersing ourselves in our daily work. The restitution is a story of a somewhat hidden country, made up of initiatives and productive relationships, which represent an opportunity for emancipation and growth for territories and people, especially for young people.”
The work was awarded last year at the Tulipani di Seta Nera International Social Film Festival and received a special mention at the 2023 European Film Festival.
Transfer to the city club at 5.30pm for Lievito Acustica with Luca Gliozzi’s concert. The Pontine musician returns home after seven years to offer a piano recital on the music of Arnold Schönberg and Franz Schubert. Luca Gliozzi comes from Stockholm after studying and working as a conductor in the UK. However, he took his first steps in Latina, as a student at the Ottorino Respighi conservatory. As for the events dedicated to girls and boys, an animated reading by Chiara Agresti is scheduled at 5pm. Following, a creative workshop by Tre Mamme Per Amiche and a snack offered by NaturaSì for everyone.
