The Ravenna Fc triumphs in Fidenza for 0-2 and closes the gap with league leaders Carpi – now at -2 – who drew in Imola. It was the last away match for the Yellow and red today’s one – Sunday 28 April – in the field of Borgo San Donnino and the penultimate of championship.

In the first half, Ravenna, called upon to play the game, played continuously in the opponent’s half of the pitch, but encountered careful defense from the home team. Of note is the post hit by Esposito with his head in the 37th minute with the goalkeeper beaten. The turning point arrives, however, at 43′ when Nappello coldly transforms a rigor – foul on Tirelli inside the small area – and put the Giallorossi ahead.

Ravenna doubled by Varriale at 48′who wins the ball on the edge of the area and unleashes a right-footed shot: goal, Brogo San Donnino 0, Ravenna Fc 2.

Carpi, at home to Imolese, drew 1-1. Next match for Ravenna, last of the championship, is the derby against Imola (now 12th in the standings) which will take place at Benelli on Sunday 5 May at 3pm. Carpi, however, will play against Certaldo, second to last in the standings.
