The May 1st mass in Fornace Zarattini, to be close to the world of work injured by the flood. The mass for the world of work will be celebrated in the “Officine creative” warehouse in via Valle Bartina 13, in Fornace. The appointment is for Wednesday at 6pm and the archbishop of Ravenna-Cervia, Monsignor Lorenzo Ghizzoni, will celebrate it.

“Creative workshops” is a daytime employment center of the La Pieve cooperative, where adults with physical or mental difficulties are employed. The warehouse is owned by the Opera di Santa Teresa. «There were two reasons that led us to choose this place – explains the director of Social and Labor Pastoral Luciano Di Buò –. The first is to highlight the preciousness of the place, where a job is valued and taught to those in difficulty. The second is to testify to our closeness to those who, in Fornace, were hit by the flood a year ago and have now set off again with tenacity.”

There will be two events organized by the Office for the Pastoral Care of Work and Social Problems of our diocese on the occasion of the May 1st celebration.

Tomorrow evening, 29 April at 9pm, in the conference room of the Gran Hotel Mattei, a round table is also scheduled on the theme of the CEI Message for Labor Day entitled “Dignity of work, remuneration, participation, safety and legality”. The Archbishop Monsignor Lorenzo Ghizzoni, the Labor Councilor of the Municipality of Ravenna Federica Moschini, the secretary of CISL Romagna Roberto Baroncelli, Luciano Caroli, CEO of “Caroli Giovanni Srl” will participate. The journalist Daniela Verlicchi, responsible for the editorial staff of Risveglio 2000, moderates.
