Last day, but also the one in which the boom in participants will be recorded, today at the tourist port of Pescara, for the 46th edition of the Florviva Flower Show, which began on April 25th and promoted by Arfa and Assoflora in collaboration with the Chieti Chamber of Commerce Pescara and the Municipality of Pescara.
An event which every year is able to attract around 100 thousand visitors and which represents the official opening of the spring and summer events of the Marina di Pescara which, from this moment on, will be populated by the public, made up of both residents and tourists, thanks to a busy calendar of events of all kinds.
«I am very satisfied with this edition of the Mostra del Fiore Florviva which, with over 150 exhibitors, confirms itself as the opening event of the event season at the Marina di Pescara tourist port», comments the president of the Chieti Pescara Chamber of Commerce, Gennaro Strever. «I cannot help but applaud the women entrepreneurs present at the fair who, with their passion and dialectic, are opening an entirely pink path to one of the driving sectors of our regional economy. I expect that, in the future, the fair will become, also thanks to the coincidence with long weekends and national holidays, an event capable of attracting visitors and tourists from all over Italy. As the Chieti Pescara Chamber of Commerce we are available to give all our professional support to the organizers.”
«Once again the Marina di Pescara, due to its strategic position in the center of the city», adds the director of the tourist port, Bruno Santori, «confirms itself as a tourist and trade fair center of primary importance. Just as it is central from the point of view of citizens’ enjoyment, it is also central from the point of view of routes in the Adriatic for all yachtsmen who decide to frequent it. This happy union between sea and land finds its perfect expression in the Marina di Pescara. The Florviva Flower Exhibition is an important event that inaugurates the summer season, at least from the point of view of events, and leads the way to Sottocosta, which will take place from 3 to 5 May, and to all the events that will enliven the tourist port in the summer , like Fermenti d’Abruzzo, continuing until late autumn”.
The Florviva Flower Show, also in this 2024 edition, therefore confirms its close collaborative relationship with the Chieti Pescara Chamber of Commerce and with the Marina di Pescara, but also its link with the city which for several years now has hosted the event dedicated to the horticultural sector and in which the municipal administration has also demonstrated its firm belief.

The event is free to enter and open to the public from 10am to 8pm.
