Sanremo. «Yesterday was a special day for our coalition! Together with our candidates we visited to the kennel managed by Enpa Sanremo. Embracing those sweet four-legged faces is a unique emotion, which warms the heart and fills you with joy.” The candidate for mayor declared it Fulvio Fellegara who during the visit to the Enpa kennel in Sanremo expressed his belief that adopting a dog from the kennel should be the priority choice for those who wish to share their life with an animal.
“It cannot be tolerated that the livestock market perpetuates the suffering of so many animals waiting for a loving family.” In this regard, Fellegara underlined the importance of encouraging adoptions, perhaps through tax relief for those who decide to give a home to a four-legged friend.
«During the visit, over 40 dogs hosted at the kennel were met. The dedication of the volunteers who take care of them every day was touching.” Fellegara expressed the hope that new spaces can soon be activated to welcome more animals and that new agreements can be stipulated to support this wonderful initiative.
In 2023, 41 dogs found a new family thanks to the efforts of volunteers. This result is a testimony to the great work carried out by Enpa and how important it is to support associations dedicated to animal welfare.
The future administration led by Fulvio Fellegara will always be alongside associations such as Enpa and sensitive to the needs of animals. We will continue to work to guarantee them the respect and love they deserve. In our electoral program we have also foreseen green and dog areas in the various neighborhoods to improve the quality of life of residents and animals
