Forlì for the play-offs, Mezzolara for salvation: a must win!

The Galletti, sixth at -2 behind Víctor, must win and wait for good news from Prato (and from the Cecotti case).
Antonioli: “We have to take the points, to be ready in the event that…. Not making the play-offs? It would be a huge disappointment!”

Guests: 3 points to avoid direct relegation.
Antonioli: “A draw is of no use to anyone. We’ll see what game they want to play. The episodes will be decisive.”

It will be a fiery afternoon at the “Morgagni”, with Forlì and Mezzolara playing for the remaining chances of reaching their respective objectives.
The red and whites would also like to make sense of the controversy over the “Cecotti case”, with the pending appeal to make last Sunday’s defeat in Carpi sub judice.
Mr. Antonioli: “I like scoring points on the pitch, but there are regulations…. Until now they have only taken away from us….”
Everything is still uncertain.

“A peer is of no use to anyone!”
The 33rd day is upon us and the last home match of the championship (and perhaps of the season) for the Galletti, who will face a desperate Mezzolara on Sunday 28 April (from 3.00 pm), on the friendly pitch of the “Morgagni”.
Guests in the frantic search for success, to keep the flame of hope alive in the race for salvation, who therefore announce themselves as fierce and therefore very dangerous.
The red and whites, for their part, will also look for victory: both to remain in the play-off race and to say goodbye to their fans in the best possible way, after a year full of emotions and satisfactions, but which is not ending in desired way up until a month ago!

An obligatory success for both and therefore a race that promises to be open and without many tactics.

We talked about it, as usual, with the red and white coach Mr. Mauro Antonioli, in the usual pre-match press conference.
Here is his thought.

Mr. Antonioli: “Last play-off train? Yes, and it would be a huge disappointment not to do them, even if it’s not just our fault. We shouldn’t be anxious, but play like a team that has already scored a lot of points. Mezzolara won’t give anything away, because they too are risking everything. Serenity and tranquility will be needed to achieve the goal of victory. Lately, our limits this year have come to light: little attention and concentration in the episodes, especially in the final part of the game, which punished us more than their skill (Ravenna and Carpi, ed.). The difference in the ranking can be seen from these things, from these small details.”

On the match against Mezzolara:
“A draw is of no use to anyone. We’ll see if they want to play the game, or wait for us, given that we too are obliged to win, relying, as they often do, on counterattacks. We have prepared it both ways and we will have to be good and careful to exploit the episodes, positive and negative, which as usual will be decisive!”

Those who are absent….
“There will be no Bonandi and Ballardini. Furthermore, Drudi also had a muscle problem during the week and is out. Everyone else is fine.”

What do you expect, from the field and from the stamped papers….
“We have to score points, to be ready and hope for a slowdown of our rivals. We are focused on the field. We can’t influence the appeals, so let’s wait and see: I like to score points on the pitch, but the regulations exist…. Until now they have only taken away from us…. If San Marino then scores 6 points: well done to them, despite the Pistoiese case.”
