First half / Inter-Torino 0-0 in the 45th minute: Zapata dangerous twice

Summary and commentary / Inter are rarely seen, Torino creates two good chances but Zapata fails to find the goal

There is a festive atmosphere at San Siro for Inter, the new champions of Italy, a celebration that Torino would like to spoil to at least keep their hopes of qualifying for a European cup alive until the very end. To try to surprise the Nerazzurri, Juric makes some changes to the starting lineup and returns to the old one and the 3-4-2-1 with Ricci and Vlasic behind Zapata. In defense Lovato returns to the starting line-up and plays on the right while Tameze advanced to midfield alongside Ilic. The Serbian himself is one of the protagonists of the first half: in the 15th minute with a nice throw he triggers Zapata who enters the area and goes to the conclusion but Sommer saves. Three minutes later the Colombian came close to scoring with a header that went just wide with the opposing goalkeeper beaten. Inter play at a slow pace and they make their first dangerous move in the 31st minute, when Bastoni tries to put Martinez in front of Milinkovic-Savic but Ilic does well to anticipate the Argentine and avert the potential danger. The first half ends with Torino pushing but without finding the goal and the teams go to half-time at 0-0.

Duvan Zapata of Torino FC looks on prior to the Serie A football match between Torino FC and Frosinone Calcio.
