RAGUSA – High Impact operation by the police in Ragusa with widespread checks. 2,117 people were checked. 1,057 vehicles and 232 subjects with judicial obligations were also checked. 191 complaints to the highway code, 2 vehicles confiscated, 15 vehicles seized as they had no insurance coverage, 2 subjects reported for driving under the influence of narcotics and 4 for driving while intoxicated. The Anti-Crime Police Division issued 10 oral warnings, 4 access bans to urban areas and a Daspo.
The Immigration Office carried out 5 expulsions from the national territory of illegal foreign citizens and the Administrative and Social Police Division also carried out checks on 5 commercial activities. Particular attention was paid to both the historic center of Ragusa, where targeted general prevention services were carried out with the use of numerous patrols with the aim of guaranteeing safety in places of aggregation, the prevention of crimes in general and the punctual compliance with the rules, which in the neighborhoods. Finally, the operational synergy within the “High Impact” device has produced a widespread operational extension in the achievement of the results also in the province of Ragusa.
