Construction of the new hospital in Castellammare di Stabia begins. Tomorrow, Monday 29 April, at 12.30, in the “De Sanctis” room of Palazzo Santa Lucia, President Vincenzo De Luca will take stock of the new garrison and the Region’s healthcare building plan. The tender for the design of the new hospital in Castellammare di Stabia was published on March 27th. «It is an important investment, which takes place after the Region has resolved complicated administrative problems linked to the acquisition of the former Baths and after having paid off previous debts to be able to acquire the area», reports a note from the Administration of Palazzo Santa Lucia. It is, therefore, “one of the strategic interventions for healthcare in Campania”, declared President Vincenzo De Luca. «It is part of a hospital construction program which is the largest ever carried out in Campania. We therefore maintain the commitment made thanks to the effective work put in place by the regional structures.” The tender, added De Luca, «expires at the end of April. From that moment on, work begins to define a project that will see the creation of one of the most functional, most modern and most beautiful hospitals in our country.”
