PESCARA – The Regional Councilor with responsibility for Education Roberto Santangelo brought institutional greetings on the occasion of the meeting with the Hon. Paola FrassinettiUndersecretary of Education, which was held in Pescara yesterday, 27 April, at the “Tito Acerbo” State Technical Institute.
“Current events present us with numerous challenges which are not only of an educational nature, but also social, cultural and organizational and only synergistic collaboration between institutions and the world of school can provide concrete answers. The regional department that I represent – continues Santangelo – intends to be alongside students and schools to listen to their needs and together build opportunities suitable for the young generations.
Through the financial instruments at our disposal, such as the European structural funds and the Next Generation EU programme, we have the duty to address the issue of inclusion, school dropout, educational poverty and orientation towards the digital transition.
We can invest in education, training and therefore in the future, because young people, with their energy and their proposals, represent a great resource and when they are prepared and willing, they actively participate in economic and social development, with positive repercussions in our Region and in our country” he concludes.
