Two Women Reported for Theft of Perfumes in Terni

Two Women Reported – In Terni, an episode of aggravated theft led to complaint of two foreign women, aged 18 and 29, by the Carabinieri of the Collescipoli station. The investigation began after both women were linked to several thefts at the same perfumery shop.

The first accident occurred in afternoon last Friday when the younger of the two, while inside the store, attracted the attention of security personnel due to her suspicious behavior. The security guards observed her wandering among the shelves before intervening and stopping her once she passed the checkout line. After a check, it emerged that the girl had hidden perfumes worth a total of around 200 euros. The items were immediately recovered and returned to their rightful owners.

The second woman, however, was identified as responsible for a similar theft which occurred at the end of March, thanks to the analysis of the images recorded by the perfumery’s video surveillance cameras. This woman, who has a criminal record, was recognized by the Carabinieri as the perpetrator of the theft and subsequently reported in a state of freedom.

These incidents of theft aggravated have raised concerns about safety in stores and the effectiveness of preventative measures. The prompt action of the security personnel and the effective use of video surveillance technology played a crucial role in the identification and reporting of those responsible.

The Carabinieri of Collescipoli continue to to monitor the situation and to collaborate closely with local merchants to prevent further criminal episodes, thus strengthening the security of the commercial context of Terni. These interventions are essential to guarantee a safe environment for both consumers and traders in the area.
