PESCARA – Last day of the Fratelli d’Italia programmatic conference in Pescara, with the presence, among others, of the prime minister, Giorgia Meloni, who is also a deputy in the L’Aquila-Teramo constituency, who will close the convention in what is considered the stronghold of the party where the journey that led him to become the first Italian began.
Together with Meloni, the leader of Forza Italia, Antonio Tajani, vice prime minister and foreign minister will be present. The other deputy prime minister, Matteo Salvini, leader of the League and minister for Infrastructure and Transport, will speak remotely.
For the occasion, Meloni will announce his participation in the European Championships. In this regard, among the people of Abruzzo there is the official re-nomination of the outgoing Elisabetta De Blasis, cardiologist at the “San Salvatore” hospital in L’Aquila. Meanwhile, in three days which attracted the presence of many big names, managers and supporters from all over Italy – a full house is expected today – there was no shortage of controversy over the behaviour, precisely in Pescara, of two public managers: Bruno Frattesi, general director of the National Cyber Security Agency, appointed to the role by the Meloni government in March 2023, and Stefano Pontecorvo, president of Leonardo, a company active in defense, 30% controlled by the Ministry of Economy, appointed in May 2023. Both were immortalized holding the t-shirt with only the Fratelli d’Italia electoral slogan printed on it.
In recent days, however, Maurizio Acerbo, from Pescara, former regional councilor, national secretary of the Communist Refoundation Party, presented a complaint to the Prosecutor’s Office regarding the affair of the Fratelli d’Italia tensile structure present in the Nave di Cascella area, in front of the beach free, where the FdI conference takes place.
