The Municipality of Guidonia Montecelio announces the conclusion of the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance interventions in the primary and nursery school in Piazza Martiri delle Foibe, in Villalba.

These are works carried out also following the report by the municipal councilor of the League Alessandro Messa about the presence of infiltrations and mold on the walls of the classrooms, in the gym, in the corridors, in the atrium and inside the bathrooms reported through a video – CLICK AND WATCH THE VIDEO – published on his Facebook page last March 12 (CLICK AND READ TIBURNO’S ARTICLE).
In a note sent on March 14 to the newspaper Tiburno.Tv Irene De Angelis Curtis, Headmaster of the “Alberto Manzi” Comprehensive Institute of Villalba di Guidoniahad completely denied the description of the state of the school building, as given by Councilor Messa (CLICK AND READ TIBURNO’S ARTICLE).
“Critical problems of rainwater infiltration and peeling plaster are unfortunately widespread in all schools in Italy – wrote Principal De Angelis Curtis – the role of the Managers, assisted by the Safety and Prevention Managers, is precisely to verify the working and study conditions and request interventions from the Owner Body.
All requests are in the school’s records and the critical issues identified were not such as to prevent attendance of lessons”.
