A 62-year-old woman was attacked and robbed on the evening of April 25 in Salerno, in via Zanotti Bianco, in the Pastena district. The unfortunate woman, while she was in the car, was attacked by a stranger who, in an attempt to snatch her bag, also caused her injuries. The thief, after having yanked the woman, managed to take possession of the bag, inside which there were documents and a little cash, and then ran away, losing track of himself. The victim, shocked by the incident, immediately alerted the State Police who arrived on site and started investigations into the case to trace the perpetrator of the gesture, also examining the video surveillance systems present in the city. The 118 rescuers also intervened on site to provide the necessary treatment to the 62-year-old. In these hours the concern of the residents of the area and the relatives of the unfortunate woman is mounting. The time, 8.30pm with some businesses still open, did not discourage the thug who could have caused much more damage to the woman. Unfortunately, it is not the first time that such cases have been recorded in Salerno. From a quiet city a few years ago there is now a lot of concern about the spread of crime. The woman, victim of the robbery and attack, is still in shock. Since that evening she has remained at the home of family members. For her, what she experienced was a nightmare. And now her biggest phobia: “I don’t want to go out in the evening anymore, I’ll do it during the day just to go to work” are the words of the unfortunate woman who is now experiencing a state of anxiety and fear.
