Lots of intensity on the pitch and continuous changes in front right from the first quarter, well led by De Vita Francesco (p.13) of Cono and Pedullà Andrea (p.36) of Ymca, which ends on +2 for the home team .
Second quarter still very hard fought, good plays from the entire Cono Basket group, in particular Nirta Francesco (p.23) and Pucci Francesco (p.14) with two triples each at the end, who ends up leading by 6 at the break .
At the beginning of the third quarter it’s all YMCA’s who come back and take the lead by just one point.
The Cono boys, with a fantastic last quarter and well supported by a very noisy crowd, lead the charge with an excellent defense by Giorgi (p.4) and Mallamo (p.9), and the many counterattacks by captain De Vita who together with the precise conclusions of Nirta and Pucci ultimately beat the Sidernos of the same age by 6 points.
All the boys from Bovalino and Siderno should be praised as they gave life to an exciting match.
