It’s victory, more victory: after the U15 championship won last year against Bologna, the young Este team of the women’s Spal has repeated itself, outclassing a never-tamed Imolese team in the current season.
2-3 today, on the synthetic “Negrini” of Castenaso (Bo), in the final against the red-blues: two goals by Faggioli and an own goal from Bologna, embellishing a collective performance of ten in the report card for coach Francesco Tampieri’s girls.
These are the impressive numbers of the Spal Women’s U15s this season: best defence, with only 21 goals conceded in 22 matches played, and best attack, with 112 goals scored in 22 outings, with 10 clean sheets.
A championship and a cup won with the U19s, as well as yet another championship won with the U15s, are the snapshot of a Spal Femminile team which this season has experienced the best year in its history at youth level and which is proposing a season crackling even with the first team.
