Like every year, the Center for Media Pluralism and Media Freedom organizes the Summer School for journalists
The appointment is from 8 to 12 July 2024 in Florence.
The 2024 edition is dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and the implications for the world of journalism.
The Summer School offers the opportunity to 36 journalists, at the beginning or mid-career, to train and compare.
The goal is to enrich participants’ experience and advance their understanding of critical phenomena and processes affecting journalism and informed citizenship more broadly, while facilitating networking.
The program is developed around expert presentations and interactive sessions, all in English. Participation is permitted to journalists from every European country.
For the first time this year, global scholarships are being offered to bring together participants from multiple countries and backgrounds. Scholarships are available for EU and non-EU candidates.
The deadline for submitting applications is April 30, 2024.
