FLORENCE – It is always Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano that has not lost a trophy in Italy from 2019 onwards. The panthers beat Savino del Bene Scandicci in game 4 on their debut in a tricolor final and confirmed themselves as Italian champions for the sixth consecutive time, the seventh overall, just one success behind the great Bergamo (Sergio Guerra’s Teodora Ravenna leads at 11 shields). Conegliano’s 23rd trophy, 15th in a row, comes after a comeback victory of 3-1 (25-21, 25-17, 25-17, 25-23) after losing the first set. The victory came from an error on Antropova’s serve at 22:47. Haak, named MVP, finished with 29 points, Plummer with 18 and Robinson Cook 19.
