Bazzano car park becomes municipal property – L’Aquila

THE EAGLE. The Municipality has published the “forced acquisition decree” of the land in the industrial center of Bazzano on which, in the post-2009 earthquake, “a car park serving the temporary headquarters of the city court” was built. The green light for the acquisition was recently given with a resolution of the city council. The decree recalls that “immediately after the earthquake of 6 April 2009, the seat of the city court was relocated to an existing building in the Bazzano Industrial Core area. The organization of the appropriate usability of the judicial headquarters also took shape with the decision to build an additional service car park, albeit temporary. With the mayor’s ordinance of 8 October 2009, the temporary occupation of the land identified to create the car park was ordered for 2 years. The areas included in the parking area were taken into possession on 26 October 2009. The car park was in fact built with construction characteristics typical of a permanent infrastructure, and the occupation has continued to this day. Following the conclusion of an investigation, also agreed with the regional Agency for productive activities which replaced the former Consortium of the Bazzano Industrial Centre, the Expropriation Office proposed to the municipal council the measure of compulsory acquisition of the occupied land , in the unavailable assets of the institution”.
The Municipality “will at its own expense take care of all the formalities necessary for the registration of the decree at the Revenue Agency and the subsequent transcription at the real estate registers office of the same agency, in addition to the cadastral transfer in the census books”. (gp)
