On February 28, 2023, around 2pm, a few steps from the Cesena train station, the 15-year-old boy named Selim did not hesitate to help a lady of about 70 years of age who fell ill and collapsed to the ground. “I saw with my own eyes the lady falling ill – the boy’s friend who attends the Comandini professional institute explained to CesenaToday – he, who started the course to become a Red Cross volunteer, did not hesitate to help the woman, starting to perform cardiac massage until the ambulance arrived. The Head of State Mattarella also awarded Abderrahim Ben Rhouma, 14 years old, resident in Cesena.
