On the morning of April 22, 2024the State Police – Administrative Team of the PAS Division of the Novara Police Headquarters has implemented the device signed by the Police Commissioner of the province of Novara, pursuant to article 100 of the Consolidated Law on Public Security, with which it was a bar in Trecate, located in via Murello, has been ordered closed for 5 days.
The Order became necessary following numerous reports from citizens and to a proposal made by the Stazione dei Carabinieri of Trecate, intervened for facts concerning the immoderate consumption of alcohol and drugs near the premises.
In particular, in addition to the noise and the frequenting of the bar by people with police records, the provision highlighted a particular episode of drug dealing within the premisesSince the substance, amounting to a few hundred grams, was hidden inside the billiard table.
The adoption of this provision is also based on the function of the art. 100 tulps as a tool to re-establish public order and safety by the Police Headquarters on commercial activities of this type, in such a way as to warn the activities that do not have adequate control or supervision of their customers and reiterate the presence of the state .
