TRENT. A confirmation of the 72nd edition of Trento Film Festival and the Baita Festivala proposal from Pro Loco Historic Center of Trento renovated and enlarged within Piazza Cesare Battisti.
“We imagined a welcoming tavern in the heart of the city, where the warm and familiar atmosphere, but also the scent of traditional dishes, envelops the patrons”, he says Marco Lazzari, president of the Pro Loco Historic Center of Trento. “These spaces are dedicated to conviviality: a refuge for lovers of good food and a meeting place with the protagonists of the world of the highlands, mountaineers, authors, directors and climate activists. A way to talk about ideas and projects and maybe even organize an outing in the mountains.”
The Pro Loco is always close to the Festival and makes itself available to the city in the organization of events and initiatives. “This year we have strengthened our commitment to eco-sustainability and the crockery is 100% washable. We also plan separate waste collection points.”
A novelty of the Baita concerns the spaces entirely dedicated to laboratories of taste to discover traditional Trentino dishes and taste local products. “This location offers the opportunity to come into contact with the producers and discover the stories hidden behind the food and wine excellences on all days of the festival”, concludes Lazzari.
The Baita Festival is active until May 5th in Piazza Battisti, also the location of the event “An hour to acclimatise” organized by The Other Mountain with the Dolomites, There will be nice weather, Alto Rilievo-mountain voices And Protect our winters Italy.
