Civil Protection lesson

A successful initiative was that of “Civil Protection Day”. It was a real party dedicated to the students of Costa’s primary and middle schools of Rovigo which involved young people in the importance of the presence in the area of volunteers who dedicate themselves not only to safety, but also to prompt efficiency in the event of disasters and a suitable need for help to people.

Many volunteers enthusiastically engaged with as many “ad hoc” means and equipment who involved students and teachers in an interesting journey made up of demonstrations and adequate illustrations of the varied world of Civil Protection. There was a lot of availability on the part of over 50 people who answered the many questions posed by the students.

Thanks for organizing the event goes to the mayor Gian Pietro Rizzatello as well as to my colleague Gilberto Desiati, mayor of Villanova del Ghebbo, to the various municipal coordinators and to all the Civil Protection groups present in Lendinara, Fratta Polesine, Villanova del Ghebbo and They lie with Baruchella. And, obviously, the provincial manager Monica Gambardella could not be missing, who was also joined by other groups of volunteers.

The head teacher Nello Califano underlined the importance of this important civic education lesson understood as social but also cultural training for future protagonists of city life. Naturally, thanks were expressed in favor of the local municipal Civil Protection group coordinated by Roberto Dal Bosco, his deputy Alessia Ferrari and the valid and always available municipal official Roberta Basso. Undoubtedly a day to remember for the students who were able to experience first-hand the daily work of the association
