This year, St. Catherine’s Church celebrates the 70th anniversary of its foundation. The program – BisceglieLive.it

The celebrations in honor of the patroness of Italy and Europe and doctor of the Church are in full swing, organized by the parish of Santa Caterina, which this year celebrates the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the temple, by the Caterinati association in collaboration with the parish priest Don Pasquale Bovio.

The program began on April 20th with the novena and will continue until April 29th, the highlight of the celebrations.

Below is the program:

TRIDUO

April 27: 6 pm, Holy Rosary, novena and vespers.

7pm, Holy Mass.

April 28: 6 pm, Holy Rosary, novena and vespers.

7pm, Holy Mass, celebrated by Don Franco Di Liddo, on the 18th anniversary of the dedication of the church.

8pm, musical evening in the square in front of the church, with the musical group “CITTADELLA’S BAND”.

April 29: FESTIVAL OF ST. CATERINA DA SIENA

9.30 am, office and lauds.

6pm, Solemn Mass, officiated by HE Mons. Leonardo D’Ascenzo. At the end, presentation of the “PEACE AND SOLIDARITY, S. CATERINA DA SIENA” award.

8pm, solemn procession with the following itinerary: Via Mons. Cafagna, Via Mercadante, Via della Repubblica, Via Bixio, Vico I Fragata, Via Fragata, Via della Repubblica, Corso Umberto, Via Lecce, Via Fragata a monte, Via Pio , Via S. Caterina and return to the church.
