PALERMO – “In my opinion, we had a very good first half, with some potential opportunities, perhaps not clear ones, in which we could make it 2-0. In the second half we started well and then they found, let’s say by chance, the two goals. Afterwards we were not good and clear in recovering this match.”

Palermo midfielder Filippo Ranocchia, in a press conference, commented on the defeat against Reggiana at the “Barbera”. The rosanero lost with the final result of 2-1 despite the initial advantage scored by Brunori. Ranocchia took over during the match.

“I’m quite well, I did the whole week but it was right that I started from the bench because I had been out for a long time – explains Ranocchia after returning after more than a month’s absence -. Today I was a little further back in position because we leaned forward when I came in. I told the coach that my position doesn’t matter, I’m ready to play wherever he wants.”

We are in a difficult moment but we are very determined to recover because we work every day to get to the final sprint that we want with all of ourselves. The coach, since he arrived, has tried to put his own stamp on him, above all by trying to give some solidity to the team. The first objective was to find solidity again, we have the potential and we had to be better at conceding fewer goals”, concluded the Rosanero midfielder.
