Foligno, 27 April 2024 – The Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Foligno Company arrested a 59-year-old local man responsible for the crime of escape.
On 12 February last, the man was subjected to the measure of house detention in execution of the sentence referred to in the cumulative provision issued by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Spoleto for years, 1 month, 1 and 22 days of imprisonment for the crime of robbery.
The military, during a territorial control service, stopped him outside his home at the time he should have stayed there and on this occasion, following checks, he was found in possession of no. 4 wrappers containing a small quantity of narcotics of the “Marijuana” type immediately subjected to seizure.
The Spoleto Surveillance Office, having received the report drawn up by the Carabinieri, suspended the measure of home detention and ordered the man to be taken to the nearest penitentiary institution.
At the end of the formalities, the 59-year-old was associated with the Perugia Capanne prison.
