On this splendid day of celebration, characterized by great participation popular at meetings and events to remember the Liberation of Italy from fascist dictatorship and Nazi occupation, there are those who tried to dirty one date, April 25, which unites all the anti-fascist people.
Some acts of stupid hooliganism or cowardly intimidationwhich occurred in Modena and in Carpi they vainly sought disgrace and provocation, tearing up the Italian flags which, curated by Anpi, remember our national holiday. A party which unites all those who share the Constitution born from the Resistance. A celebration of the plural Italian Democratic Republic, built with the blood of thousands of young people, women and men who with their sacrifice have given to us and to future generations a hope of peace, freedom, social justice.
Whoever offends the Resistance offends Italy. Likewise, those who argue about the song of “Hello beautiful” on the part of the students of the Citadel schools proves only ideological hatred and ignorance. “Hello beautiful it’s a love song, love for freedom, for the homeland, for hope in the future and for the loved one, for the partisan who died for freedom. Only those whose hearts are turned off by ideology fascist may consider “Bella ciao” a partisan song.
