The Spezia Primavera were busy this morning in the long away match against Crotone, against the bottom of the category championship. Vecchio’s men, now far from the play-off zone and wanting at least to end their season in the best possible way, however faced an uphill battle. In fact, it was the hosts who took the lead during the first half, thanks to the seal signed by Poerio in the 31st minute, which allowed them to end the opening half with the lead. In the second half, however, the eagles immediately rebalanced the situation: in the 5th minute the equalizer came with Campana, but in the final there was also an advantage. In the 87th minute the eagle team scored the final 2-1 by Monteverde, who handed the comeback success to Vecchio’s boys. Spezia thus rises to 35 points in the standings, climbing to eighth place. The Calabrians, however, remain in last position at 18 and will play for survival in the final days with Monopoli.
