The Utopian City: tastings, exhibitions and meetings for two days to ‘savour’

11.57.40 Tastings, exhibitions and meetings will be the focus of the two upcoming events on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 May, in view of the “La Città Utopica” event, which will support the Telethon solidarity banquet in Piazza Margherita.

The event is organized by the “Favole Seriche” Cultural Association of of which Pina Raucci is president and from Telethon Caserta, of which Melina Cortese is the provincial coordinator, in collaboration with Annamaria Batelli.

Guest on Saturday, May 4th, will be Ferdinando Ghidelli – musician and writer – who, starting from 6.00 pm, at the Vanvitelli room of the Circolo Nazionale in Piazza Margherita, he will present his essay “The Unification of Italy in Caserta and surrounding areas” – Graus editions.

The author, in his careful and precise journey In the flow of History, through the story of the events of those who actually experienced the Unification of Italy in Caserta, will be accompanied by the Arch. Raffaele Cutillo and the singer Annalisa Messina, who, with Ghidelli himself, will propose a musical intervention with original songs on the theme of brigandage.
