Public transport in Naples
Chaos in rail transport, in particular the Circumvesuviana line, a fundamental carrier that connects the Vesuvian hinterland south of Naples with the capital. Due to water infiltrations in the tunnel near the Napoli Centro Direzionale stop coming from Piazzale Fs, the Naples-Volla and San Giorgio a Cremano railway line via Centro Direzionale is temporarily interrupted.
This morning the many passengers present in Volla, who arrived on train 8078 at 7.48am from Baiano to Naples, were directed towards San Giorgio a Cremano from where they were continued on the line to Naples via Barra. As a result of the railway interruption, travelers heading to Baiano will depart from Naples with trains headed to San Giorgio from where they will continue, after transferring, with a train departing from S Giorgio headed to Baiano via Volla. Furthermore, a replacement bus headed to Volla is departing from Porta Nolana station – EAV reports.
