Great participation (61 teams classified in the 4×100 Cadette alone!) at the regional youth relay championships held in Chieri.
Noteworthy results for Atletica Alba, with the 4×100 Cadetti (Niccolò Magliano, Davide Ferrero, Alessandro Quarto and Alessandro Stroppiana) second in 46”55 behind Atletica Ivrea; the second team (Matteo Baudino, Pietro Brovia, Samuele Ferro and Stefan Bordea) also performed well, seventh in 48”28; The 3×1000 Cadetti was also brilliant, made up of athletes all in their first year of the category (Pietro Alluto, Alessandro Zuccaro and Leonardo Pelissero), fourth in 8’57”12.
In the Boys category, good fourth place in 55″47 of the 4×100 (Simone Marengo, Matteo Chirone, Pietro Traversa and Ludovico Allocco).

The following day, in Giaveno, the absolute Piedmontese relay championships were held.
The 4×100 made up of Simone Filante, Luca Stefanachi, Lorenzo Ariano and Matteo Ponte, running in 45″24, missed the qualifying limit for the Allievi nationals by just 23 cents; Stefanachi, Ariano and Ponte, together with Michele Di Benedetto, then placed fourth in their category in the 4×400, in 3’40”31.
