“With regard to the ‘Internet’ Man network project, we underline the crucial importance of an ultra-broadband for the Cesena area. Despite the absence of certain times and a defined calendar for the start of the works, the need for this infrastructure is undeniable”. Nikolas Subrani of Italia Viva writes this in a note, explaining his vision of Cesena Smart City as follows: “We cannot limit ourselves to video surveillance alone: our goal – highlights Subrani – is to transform Cesena into a true smart city. The interconnection with each Public Administration will allow us to offer new generation services to citizens. From intelligent mobility to efficient resource management, ultra-broadband is the pillar on which to build this vision.”
Subrani also highlights the importance of ensuring “equal digital opportunities. In fact, not everyone can afford an ultra-broadband connection, but everyone should have access to digital services. For this reason we are committed to providing Wi-Fi access points spread throughout the Cesena area so that no one is excluded from the digital revolution”.
According to the representative of Italia Viva “the future of infrastructure in the Cesena area requires a balanced approach: immediate action and long-term vision. We are called to build a modern, efficient and cutting-edge territory. We cannot afford – he concludes – to fall behind”.
