“Letizia Forever”, the last show of “ClanDestini”

Friday 3 and Saturday 4 May at 9.00 pm, fourth and final appointment of the “ClanDestini” review of the Actors’ Clan at the Maria Accascina Museum Messina, lo show “Letizia forever” written and directed by Rosario Palazzolo, starring Salvatore Nocera, produced by Teatrino Controverso and AMA Factory.

The show, winner of the Biennale Marte Live 2014, of the Teatri di Vetro Festival Award 2014, and selected at the Turin Fringe Festival 2015, has as its only performer Salvatore Nocerawho plays the role of Letizia, an ungrammatical, hilarious, poetic, simple and very complicated woman, with a disruptive, introspective language, full of neologisms and solecisms, semiotic nonsense that becomes caricatural as soon as it targets the unstable certainty of clichés: “Well, for me, I don’t think people are too intelligent, intelligent to understand my story, I mean, to understand it as true, because people are never too intelligent, for me, intelligent to really understand things” .

History

Letizia recounts, in an uncontrolled and engaging stream of consciousness, her existence marked by abuse, ignorance and daring emotional wanderings. But Letizia Forever is also a soundtrack, that of the “fabulous 80s”, as the author and director Palazzolo defines them. Music that collides with history or stimulates it, surprises it. Letizia is above all a personality dystonia, a social obstinacy, an unsolved and unsolvable puzzle. And they arouse an inevitable empathy.
