PORTO SANT’ELPIDIO – Here we are, Porto Sant’Elpidio will be immersed in the rhythms of May 1st from this evening. Five days, even on the coast we no longer live about events, but talk about festivals.
The first novelty is this evening’s concert in the space of the northern pine forest, with Piotta and his Na notte infame tour, in the green area of the northern pine forest. Tomorrow the city opens up to the little ones: from 4pm the streets of the center will host Bambin, the children’s festival, with inflatables, games and entertainers.
On Monday we dance with the DJ set in via Battisti from the afternoon with Paolo Balestrieri, Miky Mercuri and DJ Frans. Then, the 90 land party starts at 9pm, awaiting the arrival of Radio 105’s Zoo at 11pm.
The traveling festival on Tuesday 30th, in its real preview, moves to Faleriense, in Piazza Fratelli Cervi, with the Ulla Festival, with entertainment, music, food stands and spectacular scenography.
Finally, May 1st, never so engaging. From 9 in the morning until evening, from north to south, with more than 150 attractions including concerts, shows, artists and jugglers, games dedicated to children, performances by dance schools and sports clubs, inflatables, markets.
An important new development is the Comuni village on the central seafront. Promotional stands in Altidona, Appignano, Ascoli Piceno, Camerino, Civitanova Marche, Fermo, Grottazzolina, Montefiore dell’Aso, San Ginesio, Sant’Elpidio a Mare, Servigliano, Smerillo, Ecomuseum of the Aso Valley.
Everything will end at 7pm with the Zero Assoluto concert in Piazza Garibaldi.
A great festival that the Ciarpella administration, strengthening what has been built over the years by councilors Sebastiani and Canzonetta, supports in every way, also collaborating with private individuals, whether local or traders.
“May Day is the flagship event of our city and our gateway to the summer season – comments the mayor, Massimiliano Ciarpella – We want to continue to grow, addressing every type of audience. The duration of 5 days is an investment in deseasonalisation, to encourage the stay in the city”.
Councilor Elisa Torresi is satisfied: “Months of work packed into five days. The support of the Pro Loco is fundamental, fundamental in organizing events, as in all neighborhoods”.
With the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism, the event also has the support of the Marche Region. “We recognize at the May Day in Porto Sant’Elpidio the validity of an event capable of attracting tens of thousands of people, with significant participation even from outside the region” concludes Andrea Putzu who, like everyone else, thanks the private supporters, starting with the
multiutility Estra, passing through Bim Tronto. For the entire duration of the event, free shuttle buses will circulate, passing every 10-15 minutes, which will cover the city from north to south, in order to facilitate movement from the rest areas to the entertainment points.
