Gourmet city, the “Angolino” celebrates 34 years

Vinicio Mentuccia, owner of Hostaria l’Angolino sul Mare today celebrates 34 years of activity. In the kitchen, chef Maria Leonfanti, Vinicio’s wife: together they shared this long journey that has become a lifestyle. Their business, a stone’s throw from the Rotonda a Mare, is a fixed stop for many VIPs who frequent the velvet beach: a unique location, with a view of the Rotonda a Mare. Together they left 34 years ago from the Perla restaurant in Cesano to arrive at the Rotonda a Mare. But Mentuccia’s is not the only Senigallia business that has reached an important milestone, on April 24th the starred chef Moreno Cedroni, patron of the Madonnina del Pescatore, Aniko and the Clandestino, also celebrated forty years of business.

Senigallia increasingly a Gourmet City: from restaurants to historic pizzerias such as Mancinelli, which in 2023 celebrated one hundred years of activity and which during its stay in Senigallia received the applause of chef Alessandro Borghese, who praised the pizza as well as the porchetta of the street vendor of the Foro Annonario Gilberto. True excellences, unique in their genre such as Patatas Nana, the artisanal and natural chips known throughout the world, the only ones with truffle flavor and which have become, through Casa Nana, a restaurant in Piazza Garibaldi, the point of reference for the aperitif.
